Anna kirjotteli koulussa juttua vanhan runon pohjalta. Meistä hän onnitui hyvin. Ajattelin pistää tuloksen tähän, niin voitte katsoa itse. Anna on tietenkin saanut apua opelta ja äidiltä esimerkiksi oikeinkirjoituksessa, mutta juttu on oma.

Historiaa:

The origin of the Wee Willie Winkie rhyme<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The explanation of the words to Wee Willie Winkie was to teach children to associate every day tasks with their own lives. Before the days of the wireless, television and the Internet great reliance was put upon the Town Crier to pass on the latest news and information. 'Wee Willie Winkie' was the children's version of the Town Crier! The author of the poem was William Miller (1810 - 1872) and the first publication date of the words to Wee Willie Winkie was in 1841.

Itse runo:

Wee Willie Winkie runs through the town,

Upstairs and downstairs in his nightgown,

Tapping at the window and crying through the lock,

Are all the children in their beds, it's past eight o'clock?

Annan juttu:

Wee  Willie Winkie

I believe  that Wee Willie Winkie should be in prison,

because he is spying on kids and going into their rooms without their permission. I strongly believe that kids should have some privacy and go to sleep whenever they want. He also distracts little kids when they are sleeping by tapping on the windows.

In a recent survey over 20% of people in Nightown think that Wee Willie Winkie should be in prison, because kids wake up and their mums need to get them to sleep again. This causes everybody to be tired and angry.

Wee Willie Winkie’s  mum said that Wee Willie Winkie  has been behaving really badly and that she wants that Wee Willie Winkie  to come home. Police said that we should put him in the prison and give people time to sleep.

I propose that we need to put him in to the prison because it is dangerous to let him run around and spy on little kids while they are sleeping.
